This month’s program will be Birding 101: Migration. It will be led by David Frye on
Saturday, March 23rd from 10-11:30am at the South Roanoke Library branch (see
above). David is a seasoned birder with the Roanoke Valley Bird Club,

He will talk about the birds passing through our area in Spring, covering bird
watching basics: using binoculars and identifying birds through field marks and bird
song. He will also talk about the club and their field trips, programs, etc. If the
weather is good that day we may go on a birding walk behind the library.
