calendarRoanoke Valley Branch Meetings are held in the community room at Tanglewood Mall (next to the elevators on 2nd floor) from 10am – noon.

Please note time and location changes are marked in blue.

Our committee chairs devise for us interesting and fun programs to educate us on women’s or community issues, domestic and abroad. Program calendar for the 2016-2017 year is as follows:

September 9: Fall Book Sale

September 24: Fall Kick-Off Brunch!

October 8: Strong Women in History: Celebrate Edith Bolling Wilson’s Birthday
Historical exhibit, Dramatic Portrayal, cake and ice cream, and book signing for How the Sheep Helped Win the War.
11 am – 2 pm, Salem Museum.

October 15: District Meeting
12 noon – 3 pm, Randolph College, Smith Memorial Building (Alice Ashley Room)

November 12: Understanding Islam
Presentation & lunch provided by the Roanoke Muslim community.

December 3: Winter Social
12 noon – 2pm, Potluck. Guests welcome.

All meeting are held at in the Community Room at Tanglewood Mall unless otherwise noted. The Community Room is located on the upper level, next to the elevators near Belk.
